Make your own matcha ice cream at home using ceremonial matcha powder and your favorite sweetener. Indulge in the creamy goodness of homemade matcha ice cream with this simple recipe.

    Ingredients:

    • 2 cups heavy cream
    • 1 cup whole milk
    • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
    • 3 tablespoons ceremonial matcha powder
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    Instructions:

    1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the matcha powder and a small amount of the whole milk to create a smooth paste.

    2. In a saucepan, combine the remaining whole milk and granulated sugar. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves, but do not bring it to a boil.

    3. Add the matcha paste to the milk and sugar mixture, whisking continuously to ensure it's well incorporated.

    4. Remove the mixture from heat and let it cool to room temperature.

    5. Once cooled, stir in the heavy cream and vanilla extract.

    6. Cover the mixture and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld.

    7. Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.

    8. Transfer the churned ice cream to a lidded container and freeze for an additional 4 hours or until firm.

    9. Scoop out the matcha ice cream into bowls or cones, and enjoy the rich, green tea-infused goodness.

Elevate your dessert experience with this homemade matcha ice cream that combines the unique flavors of ceremonial matcha with the creamy texture of a classic treat.
